Easily schedule and join Zoom meetings with Proton Calendar, a privacy-focused calendar app developed by the team behind Proton Mail. Proton Calendar helps you manage your schedule while keeping your data private and secure. Unlike traditional calendar apps that may monetize or share your data, Proton Calendar uses zero-access encryption, ensuring only you can access your event details.
When creating or editing an event in Proton Calendar, simply select “Add Zoom meeting”, and a unique Zoom link will be automatically generated and added to the event invitation. If you’re not logged in to your Zoom account, you’ll be prompted to sign in.
Participants will receive the Zoom link embedded in their invitation, along with essential details like the passcode, ensuring easy access for everyone. With a single click, they can join the meeting via the Zoom app or browser directly from their Proton Calendar or email.
For users in organizations, a pre-approval request may be required from an administrator. Once approved, connecting Proton Calendar to Zoom is seamless, allowing you to start scheduling meetings effortlessly.
