Overview

This application is available only in es-HN (Spanish, Honduras).

Licencia Conducir Honduras (LCH) is a web application that allows Honduran drivers to request their license renewal remotely.

The National Management of Viability and Transport (DNVT, for its Spanish acronym), is the government entity responsible for driver’s license renewal in Honduras. Until now, drivers have to attend the facilities of DNVT and carry with them all the required documentation in order to renew their license.

Licencia Conducir Honduras (the subject application), allows Honduran drivers to request a license renewal remotely to DNVT. They simply submit their personal data along with photos of the required documents and wait for a police officer (application supervisor) to invite them to a Zoom meeting. During the meeting, the officer checks the validity of the documentation, so that the new driver’s license can be issued according to all the country’s regulations and laws.

Features

  • Simplicity. LCH is designed to ease the license renewal process for both drivers and police officers.
  • Security. Police officer’s management console is protected by an authentication portal that requires username, password and captcha-
  • Usability. LCH is built with modern software technologies like web application frameworks and AJAX, in order to improve the user experience.
