We have implemented an app with a specific purpose - solely to collect authorized user information. The app is designed to gather essential details such as the user's email address and account ID, and it does so without involving any tokens in the process. This information is then securely transmitted to HubSpot, a highly trusted and fully secured CRM platform.
The primary function of implementing authentication in our app is to ensure that we obtain the correct and verified email address and account ID of the user. This authenticated data is subsequently sent to HubSpot, along with other relevant form data, as part of the registration process for webinars on Zoom.
Our plan is to incorporate an authorized Zoom account button in the registration form. When users opt to use this option, we will request and retrieve their Zoom account information, which includes the Zoom Email ID and Zoom Account ID. By integrating this information with the other form fields, we can ensure that the correct Zoom account is associated with each registration, thereby alleviating the headache of attendance count discrepancies.
It is essential to emphasize that our approach focuses on enhancing user experience and minimizing potential confusion while safeguarding the integrity and security of the data collected. The collection of user information is limited to what is required for webinar registration purposes, and the data transmission to HubSpot is executed securely.
Our objective is to create a seamless and efficient registration process for users while enabling accurate and reliable tracking of webinar attendees. This way, we can optimize the overall webinar experience for all participants and organizers alike. Rest assured, privacy and data security are at the forefront of our considerations throughout the implementation of this solution.
