Overview

Egnyte for Zoom connector helps enterprises to unify their Zoom meeting/webinar recordings and transcriptions into a single Egnyte repository. This is a paid app after the free trial.

Once the connector is authorized by each end user, all the cloud recording content will be auto pulled into Splain connector platform and uploaded to the end user selected Egnyte folders. It typically takes few minutes for the recording to be available from Zoom but the transfer will begin immediately. This is a user level app and that means each end user in your account needs to install this connector. Ask your account admin to pre-approve this connector before installing.

Setup Process

  • Authorize the connector - enter your Zoom and Egnyte credentials during the setup process
  • Choose your Egnyte folder when prompted
  • Splain will create a "Zoom Recording" folder under your selected Egnyte folder

All your cloud recordings will be available under this folder. For each meeting or webinar, this connector will create a sub folder that starts with the subject for your meeting or webinar. All the audio/video/transcription files will be available under this sub folder.

Please also note that the recordings will be moved from the time this app is fully installed in your account.

Reporting

Splain provides a complete report of your transfers. You can select "Manage" option under the app and select "Configure" to check the reports or set the features.

Licensing

This connector comes with a 3 day free trial and pricing starts with $7.99 per user/month*.
