Overview

Telnyx is a global cloud communications platform that offers voice connectivity in 233 countries, and PSTN replacement in over 30. The Telnyx network combines global points of presence and deep interconnects with local carriers for worry-free, compliant global communications. As a Zoom Phone Partner Telnyx gives Zoom customers access to global voice connectivity and industry-leading call quality–all within the Zoom platform.

PSTN replacement ensures the same feature set as users have when using a local operator, including:

  • inbound and outbound local calling;
  • geographic, toll-free, and national number resources;
  • emergency service-enabled numbers;
  • guaranteed Calling Line Identity (CLI) passthrough; dual-tone multi-frequency (DTMF) signaling;
  • and number portability.

Telnyx's private, multi-cloud IP network keeps voice calls off the public internet, increasing security while reducing latency and delivering crystal-clear voice quality. Zoom Phone users can start using Telnyx as their underlying Zoom Phone carrier quickly through signing up to the self-service Mission Control Portal. The portal allows customers to buy numbers, spin up SIP trunks, and access debugging tools and reporting tools to have complete control over their telephony communications.
