Member Invited


The Member Invited event is triggered when a user is invited to a chat channel.

A chat channel administrator or an existing member of a channel can invite other users to join a channel.

You can invite members to a chat channel manually using either the Zoom desktop client or the Zoom mobile app. You can also invite a member programmatically using the Invite Channel Members API.

Prerequisites

  • A Pro or a higher plan.
  • Event Subscriptions must be enabled for your OAuth app with the following configurations:
    • A valid Event Notification Endpoint URL.
    • The Member Invited subscription enabled under the Chat Channel event.
