Meeting Registration has been approved
A meeting host or a user with admin privileges can restrict meeting registrations by opting to manually approve new registrants. With the Manually Approve option enabled for meeting registrations, the host of the meeting must approve registrants before they receive information on how to join the meeting.
The meeting host can approve a registrant for the meeting manually via the Zoom Web Portal. To approve the registration, navigate to the scheduled meeting’s page and click Edit next to the Manage Attendees section. The attendees that have not yet been approved are listed under the Pending Approval section. These attendees can be approved by clicking on the Approve button.
Alternatively, the meeting host or a user with admin permissions can approve a registrant programmatically using the Update Meeting Registrant Status API.
The Meeting Registration has been approved event is triggered every time a registrant is approved for the meeting. The meeting host should be a user on your account or a user of your webhook-enabled app.
To receive notifications for this event, you must meet the prerequisites listed below.
- A Pro or a higher plan.
- Manual Approval enabled for meeting registrations.
- Event Subscriptions must be enabled for your Marketplace app with the following configurations:
- A valid Event Notification Endpoint URL.
- The Meeting Registration has been approved subscription enabled under the Meeting event.
