Participant Left a Waiting Room

When a participant joins a Waiting Room, the host is notified, and the host has the option to either admit the participant to the meeting or remove the participant from the waiting room as well as the meeting.

The “Participant Left a Waiting Room” event is triggered every time a meeting host decides not to admit the participant to the meeting and removes the participant from the waiting room, thus also from the meeting or if the participant leaves the waiting room on their own. The meeting host must be a user in your account or a user in any other accounts that have installed your webhook-enabled app.

To receive this notification, you must meet the prerequisites listed below.

Prerequisites:

  • Waiting Room must be enabled for the meeting.
  • Event Subscriptions must be enabled for your Marketplace app with the following configurations:
    • A valid Event Notification Endpoint URL.
    • "Participant Left a Waiting Room" subscription must be enabled under the Meeting event.
