Zoom SDKs, software development kits, are app development libraries which enable you to power your own application with Zoom Meetings, and build new video experiences.
Build rich-featured mobile apps designed to connect communities through highly customized user interfaces and access to raw video & audio data.
Full-featured libraries provided to enable simple integration of the Zoom platform within mobile or desktop apps.
Comparing Zoom SDKs
The Video SDKs introduce a number of different features and considerations when compared to the Client SDKs. Video SDK meetings are handled as video sessions and are not connected to Zoom Meetings or Webinars.
Sessions in the Video SDKs are joined using the Session Name, and not a Meeting ID. Apps built with these SDKs do not have a default meeting UI, allowing for unique and custom video experiences.
To compare differences between the Video and Client SDKs, review the following chart:
|Video SDKs||Client SDKs|
|Zoom Plans||Video SDK (new)||

|Meeting Identifier||Session Name||Meeting ID / Number|
|Compatible with Zoom Meetings||No||Yes|
|Default Meeting UI||No||Yes|
